Prior to coming to see Dr. Carissa, I had a hard time walking without constant pain. I had recently taken a hard fall to my left side when I got entangled with my dog's paws while walking. I was taking the maximum dose each day of acetaminophen to maintain the pain in my lower back and hips. It was time for my annual blood work and noticed some of my stats changed due to taking the acetaminophen. I knew I needed to do something different. Someone mentioned going to a chiropractor. My first reaction is my body hurts enough without someone twisting and turning it. They suggested Dr. Carissa- she is different as she uses an Activator. I was now intrigued and made an appointment. Dr. Carissa is very thorough and was able to offer me relief at that visit. I continued to see Dr. Carissa and continued to improve. I now can walk, hike and do the things I was doing prior to my hard fall. I have since referred several people to Dr. Carissa. They are seeing amazing results.
